World premiere on tripwolf!
Climbing one of the world’s toughest mountains - live!
tripwolf will host a world event taking place over the coming weeks: The „Vienna Verticals“, three young mountaineers, will climb the Hunza Peak in the Himalaya, As first humans ever, they are about to take the most direct route possible – passing an area 3,600 feet (1,200 meters) high, vertical, snow-covered, and stormy - simply called the „Big Wall“. There they will live – „survive“ – for three weeks, with no help from the outside world.
tripwolf covers this event for you live, with the three adventurers reporting daily right from the steep face! Witness one one the most ambitious alpine projects ever.
Some say it is the biggest arts festival in the world: over 23 days, 18,792 performers are expected, and over 1.6 million tickets will be sold. Comedy makes up almost a third of the events, but theater and music follow close behind. Plus, 350 shows at the 2008 Fringe are completely free, so even budget travelers can become easily wrapped up in the festivities.
